The Bandits probably played their worst ball of the year at the World Championships in Phoenix last weekend. Going just 1 and 4, they lost three straight and were the first team eliminated from the tournament.
Though they were in every game in the 7th inning, lack of runs and poor defense plagued them in all five games.
There were signs of brilliant defense at times, but the lack of runs really hurt. A bright spot was Mark Reagin who continued to pound the ball to all fields.
Next up are the Winter Worlds in Vegas, Nov. 21st, 22nd and 23rd.
The Southwest Bandits are a Men's 60+ senior softball team currently playing at the Major level. This blog will update tournament results, post future tournaments, photos and anything else related to Bandit softball. 2009 TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS WINNERS
