VEGAS WORLDS RESULTS
Disappointing weekend overall. The Bandits go 1-4, losing by 1, 2, 3 and 7 runs. All games decided in the open inning. Injuries took their toll.
Frank Scarpelli hit .882 with 4 home runs! He did not record an out in 17 at bats. Two at bats were recorded as errors. Way to go. Now that's having a tournament.
Keith has a medal for you for team MVP.

Spring World Result
The Bandits won both seeding games on Friday and were the number two seed. 8 a.m. game Saturday morning versus Az. Old School with the sun directly in the batters eyes. It didn't affect Old School as they spanked the ball all over the field. The Bandits were almost run ruled. Poor defense, poor hitting and even poorer base running by the Bandits.
First game in the losers bracket against D and K again. Again we failed to score any runs until the open inning when we broke out and put up a 9 spot.
Next game was against Grants Posse. After five innings we managed one run! A grand slam by Dusty cut the lead to four, but we could not hold them down. The Bandits were done.
LAF went undefeated, beating SoCal 55's in the championship. They should be on their wat to Major Plus soon, as they have won every tournament they have played in 2016.
