After starting Saturday afternoon with two straight losses, it looked once again like it was going to be a quick exit for the Bandits. But with only 10 players, "Doofus", somehow sparked us. The Bandits reeled off 5 straight wins to force the "if" game against Doubleplay Classics who had not lost a game. Alas, it was not to be as the Bandits lost the final game, finally running out of gas. One extra outfielder may have made the difference, as I know playing 4 straight games on Sunday took it's toll on me.
The Bandits welcomed back Dave Niles from injury and he hit like his old self, and showed fresh legs. It was also great to have Kenny Hill and his leadership back. We missed you K-Hill. Also David Duran got his first true opportunity and did not waste it. Great tourney David. And let's not forget Coach Wilson who played all eight games and had many big hits. Way to go Keith.
